Apple ecosystem shows not everything goes down in a down economy
April 22, 2009 I blogged about Oracle's US$7.4 billion acquisition of Sun being a portent of sunnier days in tech, and that industry veterans including John Dvorak smell a bottom in tech markets. Now, another rumbling from the Apple ecosystem. As I pointed out the NASDAQ's holding its own so far this year while the DOW's down about 10%. Yet 90% of respondents in “the Apple market ecosystem” polled in a MacTech Magazine survey believe 2009 will be “almost as good as or better than 2008″, and 62.8% reported feeling good or great when asked about the Apple/Mac segment.
